Advice on relationship split

How are the bills split now? you say you both work, would she still continue to work once you have gone, if so then you need to remove your names from the bills, gas/electric etc and then just pay half the mortgage, you will have to pay maintenance though unless you and your partner come to some other arrangement0

Sorry to hear about your relationship troubles. What happened three months ago to make the relationship start to go downhill? Is marriage guidance counselling a possibility? It seems a pity to throw away a decade long relationship if it has only recently started to go wrong.0

On a practical level, it could end up messy in the future. So pay half the mortgage until it's sold, and pay your child maintenance via a trackable method so you can show you've paid if it comes to it.
But for you it's going to end up v.v.expensive, you'll be paying rent, morthgage, all your own bills PLUS child maintanence. If this is going to be a struggle i would strongly suggest staying there or with friends/family for the time being, and push the house sale through if she is willing.0 -
when i split with mu hubby 10 years ago, he moved out and until the divorce was settled he paid half of the mortgage. however, as the person living in the house i was responsible for all of the household bills - and this was confirmed by my solicitor. he paid his way where he was living and paid CSA payments for our children.
hope that helps.0
