Gardiner Haskins - Bristol...Thanks

Bought a bed from Gardiner Haskins, Bristol. They informed us when it was ready for delivery. We chose the day we wanted, phoned the day before delivery to find out what time it would be arriving.

It was delivered when they said. The guys took it upstairs, a bit of a squeeze as it is a Harrison super kings size!! (big and very heavy) They then put it all together, took all the plastic etc away with them, they insisted I inspected it before I signed to say it was ok.

Sorry but I would have to strongly disagree with the above. Gardinier Haskins delivery service is appalling! I bought a Miele washing machine and during the delivery they ripped up my brand new floor. The men then left sharpish without even uttering an apology. I wrote to complain as I had told the men to take care of it but you can't get hold of management on the phone. They have written back saying it was up to me to protect the floor. However, the floor didn't stand a chance the way they were dragging the machine around. We had moved out our old one with no problems at all. Totally uncaring, unresponsive attitude. Thumbs down! I like to see what John Lewis would have said, I'll be going there next time!
