Is is against any eBay rules to request a strike to be removed if FVFs are paid?

As per the title really, someone bought something, I issued a strike, they're moaning. They've now asked if I can remove the strike and they pay the FVF's, I've no intention of doing this but wonder if it's against any rules for which I can report? Simply because they've replied to the dispute and I'd rather like to avoid a negative...
Thanks
Thanks

Its actually an option to close the dispute ("buyer has paid fees" or something like that), so in the rules rather than against them!.0

Oooh where's that option? I couldn't see it when dispute was open...only 'buyer has paid for item', 'buyer is returning item' or 'unpaid strike'...Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0

If a strike has been issued then you cannot be forced to remove it nor can the buyer do anything official if he tries to pay FVFs.
If a buyer pays anything after the strike just refund it in full. Many buyers don't realise how serious a strike is, they let them happen then find they can't bid on anything else and panuc and try and get some strikes removed.

I get that I can leave it Soolin my only concern is that I don't comply they can use negative feedback to back me into a corner, have emailed eBay but they're yet to get back to me. So if they pay the FVF's and I remove the strike - this is within eBay rules? I was hoping otherwise so if they try the neg card I could get eBay to remove it. They can leave a neg whatever they do if they responded formally to the dispute before it was closed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
