USPS Do they Provide COP's For US sellers?

Anyone know if the US postal service provides a service similar to our RM Certificate Of Postage (i.e insured up to 10 x 1st class stamps)? If so how much is the coverage?
Had a spate of under $10 .com auction wins recently. Sellers had high international postage on their auctions i.e priority and tracked (I assume because they thought the item would sell for much more) but won't entertain a cheaper shipping method when their items sell for only a few dollars.

Not sure what you are asking here?
You have won these items and now you want to argue the postage costs and sellers are not willing to ship by another method?
Seems perfectly reasonable to me.0 -
Agree with Hintza here (i'm not stalking you honest). It doesnt matter wether USPS have a version of COP (though you could probably find out on there website). The seller has stated how they are willing to send international in there auction. if you have won the auctions without agreeing an alternate method you have to agree to the listed method. You should really have thought this through a little more before you bought the items.
The Seller is within there rights0 -
Not what I was asking. I knew what the postage costs were and yes I paid them.
It was a simple question and I did consider adding a line like "I did of course have no problem paying the advertised shipping costs bla de bla..." but thought I wouldn't bother.
But hey I forgot this is the ebay forum where the holier than though have to jump in at every oppurtunity looking to criticise rather than give a straight answer to a simple question. If you didn't know the answer why not just move along, just reminds me why I rarely bother with this forum anymore :rolleyes:0 -
I doubt I can be classified as holier than though.
But why not have a look here http://www.usps.com/ and quit yer sanctimonious moaning. Off you trot now.0 -
Or if that is too much let me lead you to correct pages:-
