On the Fourth Plinth

Hi, I'm a MSE forum user (for 2 years) by another name.
In the early hours of Tuesday 8th Sept 2009 I stood on the fourth plinth in
Trafalgar Square for 1 hour. I promoted 11 charities in this time that are close to my heart. I highlighted their current campaigns and would like to invite MSE users to
lend their names to the growing voice demanding injustices be put right.
Oxfam, Children's high level group, Greenpeace, FreeRice.com, Comic Relief, Freinds of the Earth, Peace One Day, British Red Cross, Tennis For Free, Amnesty International UK,Girlguiding UK are all running current campaigns from stop climate change, ending poverty, care for women in childbirth overseas, play a football match for peace, recruiting volunteers and lastly fund raising. Whilst the individual charities have different issues, they are all making the World a better place.
You can see my hour at oneandother.co.uk/participants/Petra_H
I have a blog Petra on the Fourth Plinth petraonthefourthplinth.blogspot.com/
(my nerves make me sound squeaky, sorry about that.
Listen to the words not the squeak!)
I have links to all the charities on my blog, also some justgiving pages if you would like to donate. If you have a spare hour or day once a week or once a month to volunteer please make your day better by helping, thank you.
