Returned faulty sewing machine

Good morniing all ,I purchased a sewing machine over the internet from JSMDISTRUIBTOR-DIRECT ,joys sewing machine for £149 in April of this year ,the first time I used it it stopped working ,the company arranged to collect it and after several failed collection dates it was eventually collected on 19th June and thats it nothing since no machine no money and no responce to any emails that i have sent ,I think i am entitled to a full refund please could someone tell me what i should do to get my money back.     Have you contacted them since they collected it?

  • I have emailed no reply they can be contacted in the evening after 6 but line the few times I have rang engaged.

    To be honest I would keep trying them, if not, try one of the daytime numbers from their website. Also, when they collected it, did they give you a receipt or have they acknowledged receipt of the sewing machine?? If not, you could find yourself without proof that they have collected it from you, and it could be a hard slog to try and prove that you handed it over.

  • The collector left a bar code reciept , they did send an email acknowledging they received it but cant find email they sent grr ,apart from my bank statement and this barcode its all i have minus £149 .was thinking of sending letter help................

  • I unfortunately Keith are one of those who cant believe a company could be so blatant in stealing my money which is what they have done they sold me faulty goods and have failed to compensate me ! In answer to your question I have been very ill and was unable until recently to do everyday things ,the machine was a gift for my daughter .
