I gave her a banana.....i think she is one of those kids that doesn't need much food to get by on, so a banana tends to fill her up.

She will eat peas now, 1 veg !

my mum would never let me eat a banana before bed because she said it was too heavy on my tummy.....any truth in it? my mum used to tell me lotsa fibs, lol. but i wont let katie have banana after dinner time (5ish) and she goes to bed at 7.30pm!!!??

1 veg is better than no veg button!! :) can u not get them in here in other ways: blitzed in soup, finely in stews etc?
no carla, I'm not jealous either. I have my wee family now, I think Chris woud like another one, but he may divorce me and get remarried to someone else if he wants that, cuz I aint giving him any more !!

we are quite the same MM!!
Robbie wants another 2 or 3 at least. but i think he is startign to slowly understand that i definitely dont want anymore. -- was talking about the snip today! we just simply couldnt afford it and my mental health wouldnt stand for it. lol.
    Carla-Farla!! :)

am i the only weirdo on here that is not jealous for weezl!!????
dont get me wrong, im so very pleased for her, but ive just had my 2nd, and *know* that im done!!!!
but then again, i think i said that when Katie was only few weeks old!!!! :o

ETA: didnt mean this to sound wrong or rude in any way.......!??? :confused:sorry....
    I'm not jealous, I might be if it's a girl though! :p

Just in case anyone thinks I'm being rude I have congratulated weezl just not on here :D
Alfie is my first weighed in at 8lb 8oz, BF and nips feeling much better now, he has v bad tonge tie which made the first few days vvv painful (toes tingling with every suck!) but he seems to have gotten the hang of a more comfy position.
    ...
had jaundice, going nicely away now. has slight click in right hip that needs scanning and waiting on the tongue tie appointment...

me doing really well... after the last month of not being able to eat or sleep, feel really healthy now... been out a few times already and planning on a trip to lakeside shopping centre 2mo!
tummy is going down nicely, although the stretch marks are still angry :-( bleeding pretty much stopped except for feeding time

    anything else?
Have you been told to do anything about his hip? My sis was born with clicking hip and had to wear 2 (terry squares) nappies to help keep it in place.
Also wearing him in a sling/carrier upright on your front can help to achieve optimum hip position ;)

Can i ask, are you deff having the tongue tie snipped and if so why? (I'm just being nosey so feel free to ignore)

caz, nice one on the house, and just as good about the milk!! i hope the house works out for you. thats £55 a month more than we pay for our 2 bed house with no parking and no double glazing so thats awesome!!

It's rather sadly half what a 3 bedroom flat with garden in inner London costs :( the evils of supply and demand :/

    Lovely pics fitzi! :) Congratulations!

  • the tie goes right to the end of his tongue... he cant get it past his gum so might cause probs with speech in the future... would rather get it done while he is small and wont remember it...

the sperm donor had his snipped when at school, had to go under general and stayed in overnight...

so far got to treat him as a normal baby... his favourite cuddle position is snuggled against chest facing in, so same as the sling... got a fabric tie-up sling-thing ready for our first outing without buggy...

    Hi all :hello:

Sami, ignore me, don't talk to me, you can't see me.. :p

    MM, yay, go Dylan! :D

    Mel, *hugs*

Glam, can I ask, how long are you trying Jack on a bottle for? We were told to try Rhys for 30mins – which is a tediously long time, but it gives him chance to fall asleep and wake up again and have a bit more.

Caz, everything crossed for the house (inc Rhys’ eyes!) and hurrah for the milk :D

    Fitz, congrats and welcome :D

Carla, nope, I’m not jealous of Weezl either.. Extremely happy for her, but not in the slightest bit jealous. Was telling OH earlier and we worked out that’s like me finding out this week that I’m pregnant again (Rhys being 16wks and me being 4wks preg – weezl, is that right?) – no thankyou! (prays everyone reads that right and understands I’m talking hypothetical maths!)

Weezl, the fairies have delivered news to MFD who in returns sends big sloppy kisses and a peck from Benjamin ;) xxx

I’ve had a nice evening. Was nice to have a conversation without interruption, not just from Rhys but just from having the tv on in the background and being surrounded by mess etc! We had a bit of a strange moment where we went “OMG, we have a baby at home – when did that happen?!” :rotfl: :o

Rhys and Grandad watched the football together then played on the floor throughout the whole second half, Rhys "talking" and smiling lots at Grandad.. smitten is not the word!
