we live in inner London and pay £1300/month for a 3-bed flat with garden. It's a nice flat, but still...
Would love to buy, but not planning to move out of London for now and I'm just not saving enough while paying that rent to buy anywhere at all ok in London!
Aww bruno, that's tricky.
Have you thought abought taking advantage of lower prices to get a BTL property anywhere, so at least you're 'on the ladder' and as the market increases, your other property is gaining value in proportion IYSWIM?
Probably you've thought of that you're a v. savvy chap I always thinkscruffy96uk wrote: »weezl What is the price list for boot sales/ebay?
There's a sticky at the top of the ebay forum, and an early post gives this list. The thread is great for advice. I never would have thought to check the notes for forgery if I hadn't read it!

oooh thanks for that. how confusing that it says a different weight to the manufacturers though
i dont mind though, seth is in a 0+ so according to that he doesnt need a new one til he is 29lb, whereas mothercare said 20lb
i dont think we'll last that long though - i can barely lift him in the seat at the moment, we only have a stupid 3 door car!!
When Chris got big I never took the seat out of the car (3door like u) I would undo the seat belt and just spin it round to get him out of it
i would be, but its not til march :rotfl:
i need a dress for a christeningi hate things like that, i always worry i'll burst into flames as i walk through the door
i gotta buy some magic knickers and go shopping :rotfl: i found some bargain magic knickers but i'm not posting a link cos i dont get any money til thursday and i dont want them to run out
oh I didn't notice that, the site obviously hasn't been updatedthe 20% off is from today until next sunday

Why have I started bleeding again :mad::mad::mad:
....and morning folks!
Phoned OH's mum to see if she wanted to do something, but she's working, she's off next week but it's Ramadan, forgot about that! Should I give her a gift for it? OH says they don't swap gifts, but she has told me before they do.....and I know there is 2 ramadans a year but I think this is the big one, like our Christmas, so surely gifts?

Sepember, a bundle is anything more than 2 items  I'd stick to a bindle of sleepsuits and vests, a bundle of outfits, a bundle of mix and match items. Don't think bundles of socks and hats do too well, I'd include them in outfits.
Thanks, tia. I'll make up a few and see how they sell. I find it so hard to get started but quite enjoy it when I'm making money!
Caz, it will be boys first, sorry! I will eventually get around to Poppy's as I kept lots just in case Jamie was a girl!

Morning Luce :hello:
You're more than welcome.. Best way is just to dive in when you can - don't be shy!
We'll have to think of some inititation questions for you.. Hmm, let's see..
How's Jake's eating?
Thinking about potty training yet?
Have you gone back to work?
(normally we ask about poo, boobs/formula and sleeping so you've probably gotten off lightly)

What lovely things fairies are
Let me know what the fairies need in exchangeI think Caz was pretty happy with one of the houses and was going ahead with getting the paperwork sorted to take it!
Wonderful!!! Good luck with the boot sale as well Caz
Husband is in my good books today. He brought home a horrible plague, and by yesterday evening I was halfway dead from joint pains and headaches and earaches and sore throat, not to mention something in the apartment keeps biting me and the bites (on my hand and my instep and right in my cleavage, batsteward thing) were killing me. So Husband took the monster and slept beside her on the sofa all night, only bringing her in for feeds. I think he's realised how much breastfeeding is taking out of me - I found some research pages on his computer when I went over to mess with his Facebook status.
I bought a fuzzy bear snowsuit from H&M last week, but the largest size they had was 2-4 months, which will do her till Christmas. I just found a similar one for £1.75 on ebay and I am delighted with myself.
Happy day to everyone - the monster and the husband have gone for a nap so I am off to join them.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
