Ok my random question of the day, what age do toddlers/kids start using crayons and drawing/scribbling? My sister in law tried giving elliot one but so far he just wants to eat it! :) So excited over daft things like this as i'm arty myself.

Charlotte managed best with some strange crayons! They're in a plastic casing like a ball point pen, but they have a slim crayon inside and you can twist them up. She gets the benefit of holding them properly but they don't drag like pencils do, and they're not as messy as felt pens.

You can buy them in packs of 10 in Tesco and Asda for 99p. They're among the other colouring in stuff.
I think Erin is a really pretty name :D

It's nice but it makes me think of the cow assosiated with next door. Their adult son got a teenage girl pregnant and she was scared (obviously!). Not sure of the full story but her parents have split and neither wanted her with baby, so she had to come and live next door for a while. I knew she wasn't working and the son has never worked, so I made her up a big hamper full of baby stuff like toiletries, wipes, pack of nappies, muslins, vests etc., and put a card in saying if she wanted anyone to chat to about the pregnancy or baby stuff, then to just give me a knock. She never even said thank you and if I saw her in the street she couldn't even manage to say hello back to me
Here I go again on my own....

looking at that link for the baby event, its a bit disappointing this time really :( their travel cots are £29 anyway so you'd only save £4 buying one that week, ok so the £25 buggy is really good, but i'm not seeing a lot else thats of interest  is that just cos seth is older and doesnt need things like bottles etc now cos we've already got them?
all I'll be buying is nappies, just the one box per child mind, then hopefully get some reduced after it's finished. Last time though I did get a peppa pig poncho for Chris but in was in a packet and when I got it home it was much smaller than the £1 cheaper one I had from sainsburys

i wont even be buying nappies, as i've tried aldi ones and they're better than pampers IMO. you know how huggies have that hard feeling to them and pampers feel more snuggly? a bit like that, except the aldi ones are a bit thicker i think. they are £5.69 for 50 size 4's :D

She used to sleep fine in her bed! It's only since I started allowing her into the bed with me, that she doesn't want to sleep in her own. She has just woken up because that flippin' kitten must of been hiding in my room, and decided to go and lie next to her and 'pluck' her head! So OH is lying with her now as she doesn't want you to go.....

Told her she is back in her bed tomorrow, she nods off fine in her own bed without you there (or used too)

Why do cats molest you with their nails anyways? That kitten is forever lying next to you and plucking away with his front claws, it hurts!
  • BM i dont do cat im a dog person so i couldnt help you there x

  • Well I must bid you all a bon nuit xx

Fortunately for me DH is downstairs playing need for speed carbon, while waiting for a phone call from my daddy to pick him up from some sportsmans dinner. I can't drive otherwise I'd have done it. Means I might actually get some sleep and only have to listen to 2 snorers instead of 3! Can normally block out LO and the dogs snoring but somehow DH's snoring is REALLY bad! Hehe x

    night all xx
