Made to Measure Suit

Best beloved and I are to be married next year :j I would love for him to have a nice suit to wear (I saw him once in a purple pinstripe... Yummy!)
He is, however, a large gentleman and does not fit into standard sizes. So I thought a made to measure suit might be just the thing... But we have a limited budget...

Can anyone recmmend a tailor in the Manchester area who won't charge the earth for a 2 / 3 piece suit please?

Many thanks!

I have heard that these people are supposed to be good: http://www.raja-fashions.com/ There was an article about them in the Times which said they were very good and my OH is intending to use them when he gets round to it! Basically they visit hotels in the UK (including Manchester) and take measurements and digital photos, then the suits are made in Hong Kong and shipped over. I would expect to pay about £200 - £300 for a suit but contact them first to ask.

I've had stuff made to measure in Thailand and it's amazing what proper tailoring can do, and also how fast it can be done out there!

The cheapest I have got Made to Measure is Burton Menswear.

Believe it is not but last Summer (with sale discount and discount for taking out their credit card on the spot) I paid £99 for a suit.

I don't think you can beat that on the high street.

Have you tried an outlet like "High and Mighty" for tall and large men?
