First Choice

Please help !!

have just been advised ny First Choice that there is building work next to apartments that we have booked for 27 May for 7 nights.

They have told us by letter that we can change apartments with no administration fee, but cannot get a hold of anyone to do this.

Phoned a First Choice shop and was told would have to phone customer service as we had booked online........

5 days on now and more than 30 calls to a 0845 tel no and I still cannot get through , been on hold for 31 mins at mo while typing this.

Has anyone had this problem .. any help appreciated

Call a First Choice sales number, start an enquiry about a week in Tenerife for October, be friendly with the agent and then get them to sort out the current problem, get it sorted, then say you might call them back about Tenerife.

Try sending an e-mail customerserveice@firstchoice.co.uk or this number 0870 850 3999 (I know we hate these numbers) but under the circumstances this is for amending the booking made online hope these are of some help

I have had exactly the same lack of response while trying customer service on their 0845 number - I waited 45 mins today with that annoying little man keep telling me that someone would be with me in a moment & how important my call was - yeah right! In the end I send them a fax (01616004945) asking them to call me urgently & guess what? - still waiting! If you do a search on first choice in this forum someone posted their cs 0161 number & I managed to leave a voicemail - also emailed so hopefully someone will come back to me! Good luck with your efforts!

I wouldn't recommend emailing them, I have tried this and they informed me they had 28 days to reply. I emailed approx 7 times in a week and got no reply until it was too late to do anything.
To get through to customer services I went into a First Choice travel agents on my return to Manchester. I explained my problem to them and asked them to contact customer services for me. The customer service rep on the other end of the telephone wasn't very happy or helpful that I had done this, however I did get to talk to them at no cost to me. It's worth a try if there is a shop near to you.

Try this number 0161 4890321 if you use the likes of 1899 it should only cost 3p regardless of the length of the call. Failing that have a look at http://www.saynotto0870.com type in first choice and a list of other geographical numbers for first choice will come up too.

This is the geographical number for First Choice. 01293 588 000

    Ask for internet sales.

Did you know you can view your First Choice booking details on line at myholiday.travel.co.uk (no https://www.). Here you can view your holiday details and will give you relevent contact info.
We booked instore, and have used the email and tel # info from this site - tel was answered immediatley - email response next working day.
For future reference, we have always printed off internet prices and got them to price match instore.
    Good luck.

    Thank everyone ..

On Saturday morning I called the 0191 on invoice and asked to be put through to Customer, which they did !!! Should have tried that 30 attempted phone calls earlier !!!

Anyway they advised I had the right to cancel as the other apartment we looked at where £ 400.00 more expensive and as we had booked in February the original booking we had had 20% off and now any new booking we would change to would not have the discount !!! rip - off !!

So Cancelled and will receive full money back - so went to shop and rebooked a better holiday to Bulgaria All Inclusive for £ 200.00 more ( less money than would cost us to eat out all week)

So dont think I will be booking online again as the holiday we have now is more expensive online than in the shop !!

Phew .. Prattled on too much now.
