Bank Charges - Do they punish you?

Hi All,
I'm really tempted to get the ball rolling on this. However, I'm slightly concerned how my bank will treat me when I submit my complaint.
Does anyone know if there are any consequences to doing this, i.e raising my interest rates, charging more for going over my overdraft limit etc....?
Regards

I have seen accounts closed after reclaiming on here. Be prepared for the possibility.

They cannot close your account because you have reclaimed post July 2007 since the FSA Waiver on Bank Charges is clear on this topic. If they do then the FOS might consider that retaliatory and therefore the bank would have to pay compensation.LeeSouthEast wrote: »I have seen accounts closed after reclaiming on here. I'm sure they can find plenty of other reasons.

If they do close the account I will take them apart cos I am a bit like a rotweiller when it comes to breaches of the FSA Waiver on bank charges. Thankfully my looks are better(I hopeLeeSouthEast wrote: »I'm sure they can find plenty of other reasons.
