Samsung NC 10 - "NC10-KA02UK" vs "NC10-KB02UK"

KingL

Anyone have any insight into these two versions of the NC10?

Ostensibly, the "B" just seems to be an updated version of the "A".

I have pulled out the apparent differences in the lists below. I wonder why they decided to reduce the screen size in the later version?.

My main query is - why are there 140 glowing reviews for the "A" on Amazon and no reviews whatsoever for the "B" ?

any thoughts ?

I got the samsung NC10 today and its works amazin keys are perfect and so is the screen. Because of this im selling my big laptop

fwor

I'd guess the lack of reviews is probably because it was introduced (if amazon are correct) less than 6 weeks ago, so relatively few people will have got one yet.

Hard to say about the screen size, but it's probably due to the slightly smaller screen being cheaper to get if it's a more common standard part. TBH I doubt you're going to miss out much with the slight reduction in size and resolution.

davester

where did you buy it and whats the battery type?

LeeSouthEast

Difference - slightly smaller screen, and slightly faster. That's about it.

pcombo

Its a 10.2 inch screen bigger than them horrible eee pc things.

Sooler

Argos have these at £280 at the moment

KingL

The Argos ones have 3 cell batteries.

Amazon also have them for £280 but with the 6 cell battery.
