Lots of manufacturers do a 5 years parts warranty AFAIK - remember it just covers the cost of parts though, you have to pay for a labour call after the first year which is pricey (think nearly £100 when I had a Hotpoint).

Such unreliable rubbish that I would never buy a Hotpoint anything ever again! Got a Hoover machine now and has the same 'rip-off' 5-year parts warranty.
