Hey folks,

I had a quick search and couldn't find this already posted, so thought i'd let you know that we believe the Manchester BS Premier 45 ISA will disappear some time very soon, and be replaced with a 35-day notice account at 3.01%

(info from eMoneyfacts: https://www.emoneyfacts.co.uk/news/savings-news.aspx?newsarticleid=188972)

It's currently MSE's top pick Cash ISA, and we have written it into this week's email (going out in the next couple of hours).

There's no page on Manchester BS website for the new account yet, so in the weekly email we have used a redirect link (meaning we can control the landing page), and if it changes overnight (it takes 12-24 hours to send all 3.5 million emails) we will switch the links to the still-very-decent 3.01% paying account.

We usually only use redirects for our affiliate links, and they are clearly marked by a *, but on this occasion the Manchester link won't be affiliated, the redirect is just so we can direct as many people to the best product. For more info about this, read How this site is financed

Thanks - I applied for this yesterday so hope I get the old rate!

    too many comps..not enough time!
  • No doubt timed to stop over 50s from topping up at the old rate!

I sent my application out but forgot to add my cheque. The letter they sent me doesn't state which account it is although. I'll ring up on Monday to find out. If I do get the Premier 45 will that rate be fixed for the rest of the tax year?
