Apparently this has not yet gone to the adjudicator! I had a letter on Saturday asking if my circumstances had changed and promising to keep me updated "WITHIN 2 MONTHS"! The say that they have too much work on and cases are in a strict queue! I have written asking they prioritise but they have refused. I am getting more and more annoyed as time goes on.:mad:0

Hi Steve
I know this can be very frustrating.
This is procedure, and you may find you will receive further letters like these until its been passed on for judication.
Hopefully you won't be waiting too long.
Do let them know though if your in any financial difficulty, they will then consider fast tracking your case for you.

Have now had a call from the adjudicator assigned to the case, he asked why I did not settle for the original offer as it was within the FOS guidlines. When I explianed this was agiast the loan capital not a cash settlement he said he would be writing to Black !!!!!s to ask what there response was and get back to me. At last things are moving again!0

An update. Had a letter from the Adjudicator on the 29/9/10 saying black Horse would settle for the recommended figures. Signed and sent back the confirmation we would accept and got a letter from FOS saying they would pass this on to BH, this was the 6/10/10. As it is now 7 and a half weeks (they say up to 8) I am preparing to write to the FOS again asking them to formally decide in this matter.0

On Thursday of last week we finally received a cheque from Black Horse for £3100! This was more than we had expected by over £300! They had added in £200 for the distress caused and I don't beleive we could have done it without the support of this forum. Many thanks to all and a Merry Christmas!:T0
