How unfair!!
The council should at least have done all the repairs you require and also fitted a new kitchen and bathroom too before handing the property to you on a plate at a heavily discounted price.0 -
I spoke to the local MP last week.
He agrees with me.
Today a council representative came round with a building contractor to re-survey the works that need doing, before they start work next week.
I pay taxes to rip-off Britain. I want some of my hard earned money back.
The building contractors need all the work they can get in these times of need.
They agree with me.Rockporkchop wrote: »How unfair!!

Ha ha ha, you make me laugh.... Silly little person. :rotfl:0 -
You've been paying much less than the market rate in rent for some time: that's your "hard-earned money back". Well, now you've had yours, where's mine?0

You are so naive, of course they will agree with you.
They will add the cost to the selling price (without you even realising it) because the repairs etc will now be in the valuation. you wont see it, but it will be in there.
You'll be walking away happy that you think you have won, they will be hiding their smug expressions behing their hands for getting away with letting you think that.
Silly billy, stands to reason.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
