Investigations for recurrent miscarriage

Hi,

Following 2 miscarriages have been referred to recurrent miscarriage clinic. Had lots of blood taken for various tests. Has anyone had any experience of what to expect with this type of clinic?

My friend went through all these investigations a few years ago and found a lot of support on the fertility friends forum. Search for fertility friends uk (there is a us version) and you should find all the information you need, and others who have gone through it also.

I'm very sorry for your losses (if it helps at all, after a long road my friend now has two beautiful babies)

that is for those of us with this problem, and others. I've had three and am currently having investigations. Did they tell you what they were looking at? Probably to see if you have any form of thrombophilia (blood clotting disorder) and possibly chromosomal - though that often comes only after you'ev had a third mc (charming, isn't it?).
