- These terms and conditions apply to the Rough Guide to Accessible Britain Free Prize Draw ("the Competition") and any feedback or reviews ("Entry", "Entries") entered as part of the Competition.
- The Competition is organised by Motability Operations, City Gate House, 22 Southwark Bridge Road, London, SE1 9HB ("the Promoter").
- The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 16 years and over ("You", "Your").
- The Promoters reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control.Qualifying Entrants
- Employees of Motability or Motability Operations, their families and any associated companies, agencies or suppliers are excluded from entering into this Competition.
- By entering the Competition all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.Competition Entries
- To enter the Competition, You should complete the form with your details and entry on the https://www.accessibleguide.co.uk website or submit an entry by returning the Competition postcard. Entries by any means other than this will not be accepted. If you require an alternative entry mechanism due to any disability then please contact the Promoters at: Marketing Dept. Motability Operations, City Gate House, 22 Southwark Bridge Road, London SE1 9HB and alternative arrangements will be made.
- Your Entry should be about an attraction/venue in the United Kingdom, which is open to the general public, which You have visited during the previous 12 months.
- Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. You also warrant that your review is original and does not infringe copyright or other third party rights.
- The Entry should not exceed 75 words.
- The Promoters reserve the right to edit any entry before it is published, in either hardcopy or electronic format, without having to gain further consent from You.
- Only one entry per person is permitted. No bulk or third party entries are permitted.
- The closing date is 12.10.2009. Entries received after this date will not be processed.
- No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
- The Promoters accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by You as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. The Promoters further disclaim liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition.Prizes
- One main prize of £500 worth of vouchers to be spent with Superbreak Mini Holidays Ltd as the winner chooses, within the terms and conditions of the vouchers.
- Three runners-up will receive a Rough Guide of their choice.
- Prize winners will be drawn at random from all qualifying entries under the supervision of an independent observer. Winners will be notified within 10 working days of the closing date.
- Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
- Delivery of the prize can be made only to one United Kingdom address per winner.
- The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equivalent or higher value.Data Protection and Publicity
- By submitting an Entry to the Competition, You give the Promoters permission for your Entry to be published in future editions of the Rough Guide to Accessible Britain, on the Rough Guides or Accessible Guide website, any associated websites or future promotions and publicity. You grant the Promoters a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to republish your Entry in electronic format and hard copy for purposes connected with the Competition. You also give the Promoters the right to use your name and town or city of residence for the sole purpose of identifying You as the author of your Entry. The Promoters confirm they will not use your personal information in any other way whatsoever except in accordance with these terms and conditions. By entering the competition you give the Promoters the right to use your entry, and name and town or city of residence in publicity materials.
