Tyres On Line

Has anyone bought tyres on line and had them fitted recently? If so, were you happy with the service? Prices appear good, but I wonder about aftersales service.

Very happy with https://www.mytyres.co.uk. Used them twice now. As you say, budget for fitting as well, which can make local places more competitive.

I've used the Swiss version of http://www.mytyres.co.uk/ and they were splendid..... :)
In the United Kingdom 200,000 people are bitten by dogs every year and some people will die as a result. Of those bitten, 70% are children... So the question has to be asked....... Has the time come to ban children?

I have to echo the support of https://www.mytyres.co.uk

I bought a new set of Goodyears for £52 each. I arranged fitting locally for £5 each. The quote for the same tyres from National was £99 each.

They arrived within a few days and i couldn't fault them.

    Hi

recently bought 4 goodyear eagle NCT5 tyres for my focus from https://www.etyres.co.uk

They were £120 cheaper than kwikfit and came to me to fit them too! Would thoroughly recommend them.

Kwik-Fit do price matching against these people so feel free to take a print our of their webpage with the appropriate tyre and they will match the price for the tyre and also the price for fitting locally (if not included) I got my dunlops for £30 instead of £58 fully fitted

I use mytyres, they deliver to local tyre place and then I pay £10 per wheel to have them fitted. Works out at £85 for 2 tyres, compared with £110-120 if I use the fitting place to supply the tyres as well.
    Happy chappy

we have just bought a zafira wheel from a breakers yard and I was going to buy a budget tyre from one of the on line tyre places (our spare wheel was nicked from under the car....)

What is involved with fitting a new tyre to a wheel and how much should it cost ? The garage we normally use hasn't got the equipment to fit the tyre
