ELC Sand Pit table cover

Options
I am not really sure where to post this, so apologies if in the wrong place.

Last year I bought my daughters the table sandpit from ELC. However, the cover is badly ripped and now ELC have stopped selling this sandpit. Has anyone had this problem and knows of how to get a replacement? Or does anyone have a suggestion of a more durable method of covering it?

Many thanks

Angela

Hi!!! I managed to get replacement covers for my ELC sandpit - is it one with a pull over plasticy thing with elastic right round all the edges??? If so I got a number from my local ELC for the company that make them, Berchet. They were £7 each and say berchet on them, but its cheaper than a new sandpit. I don;t have the number anymore, but I guess it is probably worth contacting ELC and seeing if they still do - or do a google for berchet. Hope that helps :D

Thanks for that. I tried my ELC and they were unable to help saying they couldnt get hold of a cover. I'll try a different branch now!

I had trouble with this too and this thread pointed me in the right direction.
Getting the details was a bit of a mission so here they are:

The sandpit does seem to be made by Berchet.
Berchet has been bought by Smoby which is a French company (and their website is in French).

A quick Google show that they have a UK branch.

The spares department is on 01795 477999.

The covers are £7.03 inc P&P.

    Cheers
    Don

Or have you tried your local freecycle https://www.freecycle.org - you might find someone has one tucked in their garden shed no longer needed!

All Elc's have a spare parts order book, so should be able to help, some even have spare ones hanging about in the stock room if you're lucky!
  • Angela - did you have any success? All the ELC's I've tried have been of no use and the number above doesn't accept incoming calls now!

Hi there I have a number as I have been trying to purchase a replacement cover also. Try 01274 765030 Simba Smoby...
