Heartbreaker was excellent, so much fun. Romain Duris is awesome. I'm going to have to rewatch everything he's in this week now (The Beat That My Heart Skipped, Dans Paris, L'Auberge Espagnole, Russian Dolls, Exiles, Paris...etc etc).

Went to the screening of Shrek yesterday at the Printworks. They really put on some real treats for the kids. They had a large area for face painting, and the "painters" were excellent - the best I've seen. We got to the auditorium and realised it was a 3D showing and on our seats were 3D sunglassess and a large bag of green popcorn! It was wonderful! I feel like writing and thanking them, but dont know if its Sky, the cinema itself or the promotions company who I should thank. Does anyone know....?

Which chain has cinemas in Ellesmere Port?
The Vue in Chesihire Oaks gets a few but previews are rare outside of Liverpool itself.

Yeah that's where I meant! I went to a preview a couple of months ago which was good. It's a shame they don't do more.

The Rebound is showing there on 5th July. Code came out yesterday. Take a look at code thread and even if it says tickets have gone keep trying because more do get released.

Really? I suppose it doesn't surprise me. These kind of films don't attract large audiences no matter what the promo blurb says.

To be honest I didn't make it either due to circumstances beyond my control and I was quite interested in seeing it. But c'est la vie:(

    Did you enjoy the film?

    Pooch

Yes I did thanks :). It was interesting, but probably not worth seeing at the cinema. Sorry you can't make it.
    Thanks MSE!!

Heartbreaker is a French film with English sub-titles. Andrew Lincoln being the only person to speak a few English lines. You can check on IMDb if you want to know anything about a film. Personally I like the film to be a surprise. And this was. Not a typical French film in that it wasn't at all slow, story started right from beginning, so don't arrive late and for that matter don't leave as soon as end credits start.

Excellent film, very funny, very well acted from start to finish. I enjoyed it so much I may well watch it again.

the trailer is in english tho! this is very misleading!

Not really it does say it is a French film. Haven't seen trailer but its probably Andrew Lincoln.
