Jewllery Thieft From Van

Not sure if this is in the right place, so please move if neccasary.
I have a white gold wedding ring, engagement and eternity rings. White gold needs re-coating occasionally. I was also given a piece of my dads wedding ring made into a pendant when he died 4 1/2 years ago. The pendant is yellow gold which I don't wear. A jewellers told me that I could have it coated so that it was white gold. Brilliant I thought I was so looking forward to wearing it! Took my wedding ring and dads pendant to a well known jewellers and they said yes they could do it for me and both items would be ready for collection on the 11th September. Got a phone call from the jewellers yesterday morning to say that both my items were on a van that got stolen! Upset is not the word! I couldn't speak so the lady said she would phone back at 3.30. she didn't phone so I phoned them at 5.15, all they know is the van was stolen and they can replace my weeding ring and give me the £200 they valued my pendant at for insurance. They did give me customer services phone number, but they didn't even know a van had been stolen. they are however going to look into it and phone me back in a couple of days.
I am so upset, my to most precious items have both gone and in my mind can never be replaced!
