Amex Card Defence - Worth it?

I've seen the price of Card Protection Plus go up to £35 but Amex's version is still £24, does anyone know much about these insurances, might it be worth it?

Personally I think this is a waste of money.
You can write all your details down in an excel spreadsheet with all the phone numbers and save yourself £24.0
