Electric lightbulbs

now we have the new onesI am finding that because I know they use less elec than the old types and because they are dim when first lit, that I am putting on more lights than before. At the moment I have 6 bulbs lit in my sitting room where as before it was 2 bulbs, 4 occasionally. Anyone else find this:confused:

The ban applies to domestic light bulbs only, a lot of builder's merchants will still stock industrial light bulbs for use in lamps on wandering leads etc. They cost more but they are more robust and will last longer.
