Ombudsman for magazine subscription?

Hi there, I'm hoping someone can help!

I'm having real problems with a company with whom I reluctantly have a magazine subscription on behalf of my dad. I have complained in the past by phone, email and letter to no avail, they have never once responded, so I am wondering if someone could tell me who the ombudsman would be for magazine subscriptions. I assume it isn't the press complaints commission as this is more about content, my complaints relate to the order and subscription itself.

Is the mag taking money when they shouldn't be? I'm assuming here that you wish to cancel your sub and they are still taking money? Send a letter via snail mail (post) via recorded delivery so you can prove it has been rec'ed.
