the top table is going to be spielberg, 1 is tarantino......each place at the table will have a mini poster from one of ther films which will incorporate the name card.

yeh, i've got 3 "first dance" songs. we're not really into slow dancing, so we really want huey lewis for the first dance, then after that a slightly slower one - hey there delilah, cos it's quite special to us, then a song i really like - black is the colour - a sort of scottish folk song, which has amazing lyrics, and sounds amazing with Christy Moore singing it, although loads have people have sung it, so currently hunting through them to see which version is my favourite.

I love reading all these different ideas. We didn't have a seating plan but if we had I think we might have gone for Scottish islands. I went to one wedding where it was the bride and groom's favourite films, they chose half each so it was something of an eclectic mix.

A friend of mine named their tables after herbs, and had a little pot plant of that herb on the table. The groom is a chef so was quite appropriate.
