just being nosey really.
my OH wants to name the tables after film directors (major film geek), doing this has kept him interested in the organising.
What have you called your tables and why did you decide on this?

Hello,
We originally thought of naming our tables after places/streets in Paris - as thats where we got engaged. However, as our wedding is fifties rock and roll, we have decided to name them after artists and their songs from that era. E.g Buddy Holly - True Love Ways
Film directors sounds a good one, I think doing all the little things such as naming the tables after something that means something to you both makes it all the more special

My brother was returning to Vegas for his honeymoon, so the tables were named after Vegas hotels/casinos with the Head Table being called the Bellagio as this is the hotel they were staying at. They also had a roulette table as part of the evening entertainment :rotfl:

Same as above, we're naming them after european cities we've been to, with the top table as Florence because that's where we're going on honeymoon.0

We went for love songs and printed the lyrics to a piece of the song on a card on each table.. It turns out it's really hard to pick songs with appropriate lyrics!0

wow all your ideas are really good. We're thinking of place names, such as where we were born, or where we met, and we're going to put a pic of us at that place on it, then on the back we can have some trivia about the place, such as fascinating facts, or famous people that come from that place.
my OH is such a film geek, so i did think of suggesting fave films for table names!! but were having the power of love - huey lewis and the news, from our joint fave back to the future, as our first dance, so hopefully that'll satisfy my film geek!!:heartsmil Getting Married 11th June 2011 to the lovely Graham:heartsmilWedding/honeymoon fund so far £69000
