Recording to DVD=R

Could someone please tell me if I can record on a DVD-R disc more than once up to it's 4.7gb capacity?

Comments

  • In theory, yes.

I think that if you want to record [PC] data you will probably be OK, but for media files you may be better to invest in a DVD+/-RW.

Media files seem a bit more 'picky' and you may find they will not replay on some systems if the disc is not 'closed' - which will prevent further recording.

yes you can.You need to make it a compilation disc in nero. Each time you put more on make sure you specify continue compilation disc .Then when you have filled it you can finalise the disc in the burn menu.
Other computers may not be able to read the multisession disc until finalised. My standalone dvd player cant read them.
