Buying Vs Renting

Why look at buying a house when there's only the 2 of you?
I would think that most FTBs start off by buying a flat and then progress to a house when they can afford it/if they think of starting a family.0 -
My Advice.
1) Rent a cheapish flat
2) Keep saving as much as poss
3) Make sure that you can still stand living with each other after 6 months-1 year
4) Look to buy if you are still minded to do this (prices are unlikely to have rocketed)
PGo round the green binbags. Turn right at the mouldy George Elliot, forward, forward, and turn left....at the dead badger0 -
Got to agree with some of the other comments, I'd rent first as you don't know what its like living with each other.0

I'm in the same position and have been looking around at different develpments for the best deal, then a friend told me about a rent to own system with a crowd called Purplepig.ie. I'm looking into whether this is the right fit for me, hope your hunt goes well0
