My wifi router is not secured. And I don't know how to put a password on it so that no one outside our house can connect to it. And also I can't connect using my laptop, it say's there I'm not pretty sure but it goes like this... "unsecured connection. one or more device are using.........so on. I don't know why is that. Can anyone enlighten me about this?. Thank you so much!

You need to read the documentation that came with it. Although they are all pretty similar (connect to their web interface using a wired connection and then configure the wireless) the detail varies from model to model.
Here is a guess at the url you'll need for the web interface on it http://192.168.1.1 but it may not be that at all.
Then it will ask you to log in and that will vary too.0 -
Better advice could be given if you post the make and model of your router. No free lunch, and no free laptop
