Getting USB Voip Phone buttons to work with Voipcheap

I bought an Ikino Voice 200 USB Voip phone from John Lewis and I'm trying to use it with Voipcheap. The phone itself works great and I can make calls no problem, except that none of the keys on the phone appear to work with Voipcheap. So I have to dial everything in and connect using the Voipcheap software on the computer.
The phone itself came bundled with Skype software and was advertised as a handset for Skype. If I just load the phone drivers up, I still get the same problem in that the keys don't work. However, if I load the Skype software up, all of the keys on the phone work perfectly. I just can't seem to get them to work with Voipcheap.
Is this a standard problem with USB phones because most of the ones I've seen seem to be bundled with Skype software in order to make them work?
Is there a USB phone available where the keys will work with Voipcheap?
Appreciate any help.

Can anyone help here? Are the buttons on a USB Voip phone meant to work with Voip suppliers other than Skype?

Thanks for that (still no thanks buttons anywhere
). Did try that and it still didn't work correctly.
I think that the phone has been locked  by the manufacturer so that it only fully works with Skype, and only partially works (as a speaker and mic only) with other VoIP suppliers. So I plan to return it for a refund.
Can anyone recommend a good USB phone that will fully work with VoIpCheap?0 -

I feel so frustrated about the problems you're having with your Voip phone!
here's what I have that works great with VoipCheap.
I have this box
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-RJ11-Adapter-4-dect-cordless-phone-SKYPE-VOIP-4-PC_W0QQitemZ9723806913QQcategoryZ61841QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
as well as the RJ11 to BT connector (you'll need this! - picture of it's on the page too!).
Once you have the box, to make the box work with VoipCheap, you'll need to download VoipBuster application so that the box will work with VoipCheap. Look for the Windows logo on the page and click the reference to VoipBustermate next to it here

The definite advantage is that you'll be able to plug-in a normal phone to the box via the RJ11 to BT connector. I've managed to connect a DECT cordless phone on the box so I can dial out using VoipCheap from elsewhere in the house with using the associated DECT phones linked-up to the main one - providing the PC's powered up! You can also switch between your normal network by simply pressing the * button.
It sounds difficult but let me assure you it's not. The box out of Maplin was recently about £16.00 and the RJ11 to BT connector's about £4.00.
Any more info? 'Drop me a line!
Good luck!!!
PS - Your maximum time per month on VoipCheap before getting charged per minute is 20 hours using a minimum payment of £11.60. That's usually more than adequate for most users though.
Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.0
