Hi
I'm in the process of having a website made, and need to edit a few bits of text on pages that have been created for me.
Apparently, I can just download the .asp files and edit them, but can't seem to find a programme on my Mac to edit them with. Does anyone know of a free programme that I can use to edit my .asp files please?
cheers

Any text editor will be fine for your needs, if you just need to edit a bit of content.
If you want to do some coding and want an intellisense IDE you'll need somthing like Dreamweaver.0 -
The text editors that came with my mac don't work with it (I can open the file, but not save any changes)0

Why can't you save? Text Edit or any editor allow it. Is the file open and / or locked with another app? Save As and create a new file...0

I can't save it as a .asp file0

Try opening the file in TextEdit, then go to Format > Make Plain Text.
Now when you go to Save As, you should be able to add the asp extension manually.0 -
I use BBedit on the mac, a good code editor
besides that maybe take a look at Netbeans, its a good ide.0
