Potterton Suprima Boiler Leak

Hi, we have a potterton boiler and recently it started to leak. It first started when we returned from Hols to find a small puddle under the front right hand side of the boiler. We mopped up the water and the leak had stopped. We called a plumber who came round but couldn't locate the leak. The leak stopped for a week, and then last night, after we had new rads installed and the central heating system flushed, it started to leak again after 1 1/2 hrs of running. When we turned the system off, the leak slowed to a stop. The plumber checked the heat exchanger and found no leaks as well as a visual check on the pipe connections which showed nothing. Has anyone experienced this before? I don't want to pay money out for a new boiler if it is a simple seal which needs repairing.

If the bloke on-site can't see the problem, it's very unlikely that anyone on the internet will be able to tell you where your leak is.
  • I've had trouble with my boiler which the engineers think is the result of condensation which resulted in water in the bottom of the boiler.
