Insurance - To use the gym?? HELP

I work on a military camp, as a civilian. The camp has a gym which I am allowed to use for free, if I have my own personal fitness insurance or something?

What insurance am I looking to get? I looked up a fitness one but it says for personal instructors or people who take classes and teach. Does this still apply to me? Help please!!!!!!!

They want you to have personal liability insurance, if you have home insurance this will provide it. Ring them up and ask them to confirm it in writing and then you can show this to the gym.

They will also recommend you have some kind of accident insurance but this is optional

I have never heard of this.
Why don't you ask the people in the gym what they mean? and ask them if they know where other people buy it.

Lisyloo they do this when allowing non military eg civil servants attached to the MOD or staff of companies such as Serco who work on the base.

They want the OP to have Public Liability / Personal Liability cover in case they damage any government property or other people in the gym. I've dealt with loads of these cases before. Its very common for military gyms

They also recommend that have accident cover just in case they injury themselves
