How do I open DS2 files?

I have got 2 ds2 files which I really need to open asap, does anyone have any ideas?

What is the file? Where did it come from?

I am thinking either Dungeon Siege 2 character files or The olympus digital voice recorder files.

They are recordings from a meeting, sent via an e-mail. Please any help would be really grateful. Do you need any more information?

Thanks grahawk, we went on that website but it still didn't recognise the ds2 file.

You can download a player from here.

Alternatively, this free software claims to convert DS2 to wav format. Any media player should open it then.

Another kick in the butt from a wellknown company that could make their life easier by using MP3s at 96kbs recording.

Thanks for that, we have already done that but it still does not recognise the files sent to us by e-mail so......

The above was taken off the above link, Am I right in understanding that maybe the file sent to us should have been converted to a classic DSS before being sent?
If so how do we get it done. The recordings are of a disciplinary hearing and we really need them!!!

Any help would be gratefully excepted, I don't understand any of this!!

That is how I understand it , yes. What about the converter - does that work? I don't have any DS2 files to test it with.
