Praise be!!!!

Options
|I would like to praise the shop assistant who served me in Tesco today. I bought some clothes along with my shopping and she had a £5 off voucher in her pocket that she let me have. She was really nice and even looked at me when she spoke (I find that unusual these days as most just continue talking to their friend on the next till or ignore you alltogether)
So THANK YOU TESCO LADY, YOU REALLY MADE MY DAY

It really cheers me up when you occasionally meet nice shop staff.

That's nice of her but it I did this kind of thing when I was a cashier I'd probably be in for the sack. Cashiers have easy access to vouchers and if they're seen taking vouchers out of their pocket and using them on other customers purchases it could look suspicious.

It wasn't a staff discount thing, just a voucher out of a leaflet that I hadn't got. Her supervisor was standing about 3 feet away and she seemed fine with it. I just thought it was a really lovely thing to do.
More cashiers like this please Tesco!! :j

Amistoso, it was a staff discount thing. We all received vouchers on Friday with our payslips for money off clothing when you spend £25. While it was a nice gesture for her to give it to a customer, she was putting herself at risk.
