If I were you I would hold out until I were 18 and apply for the loan in my own right. You have coped with things as they are so far,I am sure you can manage another couple of months.Your mum may well agree to a loan but personally I wouldn,t feel right to impose this on her.
Perhaps its something the NHS can do,you maybe should ask your doctor if its an area they could help with.
If you do have to fund it yourself you have a job just now so you would have some employment history and an income which would help you get the loan.Shop around with the banks when it comes time to get the loan.I have found that the same bank can have better rates available online than in branch.Be careful and research rates before applying as applying for a few loans can get you a bad credit rating in itself
    Good luck.

I am beginning to think this is a wind up.
The OPs other posts seem to be about him/her getting his mother to remortgage so he/she can get a mobile phone contract.

I also have suspicions that the OP is posting under various aliases wherehe is trying to get his sister to take out loans for the purchase of a car.

Seems to be a rather silly young person or just a wind up.

He mentions in the post about his mum and the phone/remortgage 300 pounds a month.....very reminiscent

Hmm okay, is it likely I'd be granted a loan for ~£4000 at a reasonable APR with only part time work ?

NHS can do the op, but it's cosmetic, but it's not your usual cosmetic surgery so DON'T make assumptions.

I've never heard of a buy now pay later loan, apart from some graduate ones.

If it's a necessary operation then it'll be available on the NHS. If it's cosmetic, then it's not vital and can wait until you can save up and afford it, besides which operations at your age can be dodgy because your body's still growing - I think you'd struggle to find a reputable surgeon who'd do it anyway.

It's cosmetic, and SOMETIMES the nhs offer to do it, but due my age I don't think they will, and even if they offered I'm not sure I would want them too - I've heard of many people having terrible experiences with this procedure on the NHS. It's considered cosmetic, but it's not a typical cosmetic procedure, so please make no assumption.

not really the way to speak to people who are trying to give you their advice, based on the information you have given them... and also no need to resort to personal insults.

Your 17. Finish your education, get a job and earn your cash like the rest of us, I don't think its fair asking your mum, be a grown up and stand up on your own two feet.

How about earning the money by starting an income-generating website based on information all about the operation you want?

As somebody keen to have the op you can spend your time researching and writing about it, perhaps a forum where others can discuss it ... and get adverts on there (adsense).

£4k could be achievable in 6 months if you set your mind to it.

I was thinking more along the lines of penis enlargement - can you really get that done for £1500?:confused:

OP - whatever it is, it's not vital - right now. Have some patience and sort it out yourself.

Its not the size that matters, its how you use it. And if that doesn't work, thats what rampant rabbits are for.
