How did you go to your banks website?

Clicked a link sent from your bank in an email?
    used your own bookmarked link?
googled it then clicked their link?
typed it by hand from some paper literature?

How did the bank tell you they want an AV report?

I typed it by hand from my papers. but when it said my account was blocked. I noticed that i had an email saying a message was waiting for me in my in box and i thought it was from my bank. Silly idiot that i am i clicked on ti and it said ( this site is unsafe) so i deleted the email and phoned my bank so now my account is frozen until i can send them a av report that they can check

So you typed by hand, found your account was blocked, meaning you mistyped your account info in wrong earlier. Then mistook a fake email from your bank clicked the link. Contactingyour bank who then froze your account.

So your problems are you have a blocked internet banking account with a frozen bank account in it

What anti virus are you useing?

When you scan your system using an antivirus program it's generally possible (when the scan is complete) to save a text file containing the results of the scan. It sounds like maybe they're after something like that???

Having said that, when I used to use Norton I don't recall it offering such an option, though I believe it did silently save a log file with the results somewhere, so you may just need to find it.

First update norton antivirus. usally does this automatic but you can tell it to check for updates. Then run a full scan. The report that comes you should be able to print it off the report.

Take the report down to your local bank and chat to the manager/advisor so that you know what they are going to do and how long it will take. A frozen account is a pain in the !!!, cause legit companies that have direct debits won't get their money which adds to the hassel

Don't forget passport and other ID too, they might want to double check you are the account owner
