Student insurance

Looking at taking extra insurance for laptop and Apple i phone when daughter starts uni later this month. Endsleigh insure the halls and I have to take out insurance to cover her outside of her room. Anyone had good or bad experience of Endsleigh, particularly want to make sure if her I phone/laptop gets stolen, damaged that it is replaced quickly. Phone is already insured with talkcover. Any one recommend any other insurer to get a quote form pls?

I've never got insurance, never seen the point.

However Endsleigh are the most popular student contents insurance provider. Not sure how they are to deal with if you have had something stolen though.
  • check whether your own home contents insurance will cover your daughters possessions. Some of them do and can be cheaper.
