    ... Moorcroft.... do buy debt....
Says so on their website too.
TRoll (and others who've had dealings with DCAs) - can you confirm that firms spread their debts around DCAs. i.e. they don't use just one. Partly so they don't get too familiar, "all eggs in one basket" etc. and partly because if they use several they can play them off against each other, and keep all the DCAs "on their toes", competing against each other, etc.

I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

IMHO yes, as you now owe them. But they do have to inform you of the fact, again IMHO.

I think they have a legal obligation to inform you if they bought the debt. But 26 DCA's that I've dealt with slightly overlooked that fact

Either the lender or the dca have to inform you they have purchased/sold the debt - one or the other, not both as is sometimes suggested. It is also mentioned that they have to show you the deed of assignment - no they don't, a letter will suffice.

I seriously doubt 26 dca's have bought your debt - people often confuse debt being passed a debt to collect by the lender with the dca buying the debt. Just because the dca has your debt, does not mean they have bought it.

if you dont pay the dca the dca get nothing ,if you continue to pay the creditor direct the ammount you have said you can afford then more full the creditor if the pay dca for doing nothing

My mistake  I forgot you know everything !
