Interesting question. I suspect you will receive a lot of negative comments on this but I for one will at least have it on a short list come Feruary next year. Mercedes Engine and gearbox is a big plus for me.
My understanding is it is quite thirsty but at that is off set by the price you pay.
Have you looked at the What Car customer reviews? They can be quite interesting once you have weeded out the phsyco ones. The motoring press slag it off badly but that never stopped me buying a car.
Certainly worth considering and if you are buying new you had better not be looking to sell in a hurry as depreciation will be a killer. I have one friend who has one and he thinks it is great but I think would have wanted to shift it on after a few years but decide on the offers he had he was better off keeping it.
