November Flights to OZ - any good deals?

Hi

I'm looking to go to Sydney from London around 12th November with a 2 day stopover in Singapore/Hong Kong.

Ideally I'd like to spend 4 weeks in Oz and then fly back from Perth/Sydney (preferably Perth) around the 11th December with a 2 week stopover in Mumbai if possible.

I've been going through all the 'multi-city' options but have come up with nothing on a lot of the websites such as travelbag,ba qantas, travelmood, singapore air etc....

Any ideas anyone?Which airlines would be better? And the sort of prices I'd be looking at? I'd like to keep it under £1000 if I can.

Any help would be appreciated :cheesy:

Thanks

Your Mumbai stop will push up your overall pricing, and you'll struggle to keep it under £1000 if that is a definitive stop.

Don't bother with online as it will struggle to help you with your route, speak to a human being (there is a thread here about rtw tickets, look and see who is recommended).

From memory the BA / World Discovery is your answer as Qantas are the only airline to go from Oz to India, and that is an infrequent Brisbane to Mumbai flight. However it stops in Singapore and connects with other flights from Perth, so that is feasable, then finish with a flight from Mumbai on BA to Heathrow.

As I said this is too complex for online booking engines.

there are some good prices with BA/ Qantas at the moment for sale until the end of the month but availability will be tight

just at a glance there are prices from £850 but with availabilty expect to pay about £100 more

The lowest I've been quoted is £968 and the highest £990. If I cut out the mumbai part of the trip it's still coming in at around £750 minimum. I don't think you can get a return from London to mumbai for £200 anywhere right? :D
