    Hello
I've been very productive to day, washing, cleaning etc....

    ...Linda xx
It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Ok so it seems like everyone is far too busy doing productive things to post

Maybe I'll go empty that dishwasher afterall.

    And Happy Birthday Ryan.

  • :rotfl:Hi everyone:hello:. Wish I was being productive today - never quite sure what to sort first sometimes. :p Anyway went to the British Science Festival yesterday to see !!!!!! and James Strawbridge of Going Green with the Stawbridges then tonight off to see a talk on the periodic table (hopefully with experiments) - it's good that it's nearby so we want to make the most of it and it's not exactly going to happen again (well not that I know of anyway near here)-shame each talk is about 3 or 5 pounds mostly. Also feeling a little quilty for neglecting the new home search in the evening , especially as the 2 months notice turned up today (eek).
First house viweing went o.k on Saturday - not ideal but better than nothing so feeling more positive there is something out there for us - seems to be a lot to choose from so we should be in a good position.
Oooh Snaggles - is Ryan into Lego they are doing free lego with the mirror this week - not sure if it's his thing and you have to buy the paper as well but might do for a stocking filler? Glad he is having a happy birthday though and behacing so far.
Bookie - your weekend does look fun.

Wow that sounds fun DF - just googled hoping it might be in London but Surrey!!! Strange location...

Anyway have fun at the talk - the periodic table has always fascinated me - especially the groups and how the elements properties progress as you move down them :D

No, had a couple of glasses of wine, sat on her sofa, watched X Factor, stressed about the kids and moaned about how bad my asthma was, then went to bed....poor Bunny....she's a star for putting up with me ().

I did take the kids to Telford Town Park while I was down there though, which is a brilliant place. Must remember to upload photos today.

I think my little dark moment was caused by a combination of Ryan having been very aggressive in the run up to the beginning of the school term, Natasha being relentlessly hard work (she's two...it's her job...), feeling tired because I haven't had a break, pmt, feeling sad about things not being how I would like with Mr Sunday, bad asthma, putting a few pounds back on, having no money, Stu being a !!!!!!, and generally feeling like life was spiralling out of control.

Today I have decided to just take control of a couple of little areas, so I am doing housework, finishing the decorating (with the help of the 'rents, who are coming over at lunchtime), and have spoken to Stu, who seems to be making an effort, and even offered to come and put the kids to bed last night instead of going to see his girlfriend (I declined of course, but was touched that he had offered, and told him so).

Snags.....:grouphug: why did you decline...you should have taken Stu up on the offer, even if it would have been difficult to 'hand over'. Its tough being a single parent.. Sorry I couldn't get round to the bunsters...I had my own two year old to cope with - and I don't mean Chloe..:rotfl:
