Suzy - I think that was one of the reasons I'd not want to listen - not sure I'd want my last phone call to be aired to millions. It's strange what's considered for TV programmes now isn't it. It appeals to our morbid fascination but makes us squirm at the same time.

The thing that really had a profound effect on me was Dunblane.
The little uns involved were only a couple of years older than DS and it was fairly near to me.

I remember watching it live as the second plane hit and just crying and crying. It was so awful and I hope I never see anything like it again. Can't believe it was 8 years ago.

My neighbours USA based company was in the North Tower, so they were directly affected. Awful.
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

I remember 9/11 really vividly, we left school none the wiser - although surely the teachers had heard and went to the local shop on the way home (as normal) and he told us to !!!!!! off home and turn on the TV. So my friend and I did, then we were on the phone just going, are you watching? Yup. Oh my god. Yup and then silence for ages. Was very surreal.

In an odd sort of way I feel that I owe it to those who died to watch it & to show them some respect.
