Lunch in Ayrshire

Looking for a nice place to have lunch in Ayrshire.
Would be a bonus if they had Haddock done in bread crumbs on the menu.
Love haddock but can't stand the batter that most places serve up.
Hope someone can help.

We were in Saffys in Ayr on saturday and I noticed they had Haddock on the menu, not sure if batter or breadcrumbs - food there is really nice and good quality.Waddle you do eh?0

Ayrshire is a big county. Can you be more specific?0

Have to also recommend Saffys - fantastic food and good value for money but this is in Ayr and as already stated Ayrshire is a big place do you have a more specific location in mind.0

Frankie and Benny's on the outskirts of Ayr was great the last time we were there - and had a great deal on lunch menus too.
We had pizza, and new york style chicken, so didn't notice the fish.
Service was excellent, a compliment not often dished out by us.:DMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Thank you for replies.
I am in North Ayrshire, very central for south and east.
I don't mind driving a number of miles. Bit of a day out as well.
I googled Saffy's looking for a menu but could not find one, sounds nice though.
Might phone them and ask if they do haddock in breadcrumbs.0 -

i can totally recomend burger king in kilmarnock, they dont do haddock but lovely burgers.
seriously though i struggle to find anywhere to eat when i visit ayrshire, somewhere easy to get to,easy to park near and fast at serving some quality but not out of the ordinary lunchtime grub. prestwick and girvan are just blackholes when it comes to eating i find. i darent risk parking on the main streets to supply some local traders business due to fear of parking tickets,i dont have time to go and get a parking ticket or read traffic restrictions. i just want my lunch,so i find somewhere a bit easier, and if i dont have a piece with me its usually ends up a drive thru or tesco....work permit granted!0 -
Scotts in Troon is nice also, as its at the Marina and you can ask for a table on the terrace overlooking the boats.
The Old Loans Inn in Loans has just re-opened, I havnt been myself, but I have heard that its really good.Waddle you do eh?0 -
Ceccini in Ardrossan Harbour overlooking the boats. Sit out or in or upstairs.
They also do a disco on Saturday nights.
