    evening all

Just popping on quickly, been off work today so DH and I have been to london zoo. Was really nice to spend the day together doing something a bit different. His bro & SiL have come up now (staying with my in laws) so we'll be going to the hospital tonight to see FiL as it looks like he's going to be staying in.

I'm shattered as I slept badly last night. DH woke me again to say I was keeping him awake, my ongoing cold /sinus probs are making me breathe too loudly apparently! So I ended up on the (not so comfy) futon in the spare room. His turn on there tonight if I keep him awake again. Looks like I need to go back to Drs yet again as I'm still not right (despite course of antibiotics), it has been a month now and I'm still coughing yukky stuff up.

Kebabs here for dinner, but DH needs to wash up and I need to clean the bathroom and put the towels in to wash first!

    two birds one stone

DD is grilling her HM burgers for her tea (she makes them herself, having watched her dad's GF make them...ho hum) and she has tested the dining room smoke alarm LOL

all today's laundry is either ironed and airing (sheets and pillowcases...I know, I know) or away (towels). Nice one!

Think that's me for this week - didn't manage to clean the pictures/mirrors - maybe next time :rotfl:

So 4 stars for me I think.... really starting to see a difference to tidyness/cleaness of everything. Although think I might need to watch I'm not getting too obsessed

    Have a great weekend everyone.

Suppose I'd better get the hoover out and see whether it needs cleaning before I hoover tomorrow morning (I might do some tonight so that I can wash floors before I go to bed...)

I've also done kitchen skirtings which were grim, and the architrave. As this is a tiny place, it wouldn't take much to get 5 stars... but then again... I'm on holiday!

Evening everyone. Went across to my old workplace this afternoon. Really weird being a visitor. Had no regrets about retiring. Have done loads of shredding since I got back.
