Save the Date & Invites...

When did you send these out?
We're getting married on the 2nd October next year, so I was going to send out the Save the Date cards/magnets/whatever after Christmas (middle of Jan after the Christmas postal rush).
Does anything think it's silly or premature to send them out with Christmas Cards? (Kills 2 birds with one stone then)
With the invites, I was going to send them out at the beginning of July.
What have other people done or what are you intending to do?
Let me know what you did, or think anyway x

Hi shellsuit,
You're on Wirral aren't you?
Send your STD's with your christmas cards through Scout Post and save yourself about 30p per card!
We got STD's as postcards from Vistaprint 100 free just paid for postage, they do magnets as well. Well worth a look.0 -

Yes i'm on the Wirral, I didn't think about Scouts post, thanks for that!! :T
I've got Vistaprint postcards in my basket on there now, they've been there for about 4 days cos I can't decide whether the wording on them is right now not lol
Will definitely be ordering them from there though and will definitely send by Scouts post, that should save me a few quid!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Ooh what date are you getting married Franny?!
I probably would have done the same as you and got them out early, but we're getting married on a Saturday now so no need to worry too much about people getting time off work, as I know those working on the day will definitely be able to get it off so they can join us.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

That makes me feel better, knowing someone else has a need to be as organised as me
We can get excited together then

Oh i can't wait! All my life I've never asked for anything (I've never ever even had a bday party in 33 years, get the violins out lol) from anyone.
Now I have a day all to myself to plan!! :j:j Well Steve gets a say in some things I suppose lol
So long as everyone around me is happy on the day, it will make me the happiest girl alive!
