ipod touch broken screen

hi does anyone know where I can get a screen replaced for an ipod touch, son has only had his for 3 months and managed to drop it and crack his screen, thought about going to the genius bar in apple store, but I dont know if they would be willing to help him?

does anyone have any experience of this?

Im thinking this will come down to what home/contents insurance you have or the warrenty limitations are.

guess he is keeping a cracked screen then unless he hits it lucky in the apple store, can't believe it I have had mine for almost 3 years and never damaged it.... mind you it does sit on a docking station most of the time :-)


I thought there might be someway of replacing the screen as they sell them on ebay....

thanks for that, bit nervous about doing it, but hey ho its no good really at the moment, will try the genius bar at apple store and if that is no good will go for this
