    Different settings for incoming/outgoing mail

You can't sync to outlook express, only to your virgin mail server

What maybe be happening is that you've got your outlook set to download mail from the server, and when you come to use your touch theres no mail because it's already been downloaded to your outlook.

Outlook Express needs to be setup as IMAP and the same on the touch for it to work. With IMAP all the mail stays on Virgins servers which may present another program. A friend of a friend used Virgin for their mail but had problems because of the limited amount of space virgin allows for mail storage, this was resolved by moving over to Gmail/GoogleMail plus if they ever change ISP they dont have to worry about email addresses

Also with Gmail / GoogleMail you can set it up to get your Virgin mail to reduce the hassle

    Google think of everything

A simple mass mail to everyone from Virgin saying this is your new email address and they will all swap over, and if your boss has Gmail too you can google chat to him instantly if hes on and get his green bar up so you get promoted quicker oh wait thats sims3 and not real life.
